Cloth Washing Mechanism

The Cloth Washing Mechanism ensures that filter cloths utilized in dewatering processes remain efficient and durable over time as they separate solids from liquids. Over time, fine particles and residues may block the pores of these clothes, reducing their permeability and filtering efficiency.

The cloth washing mechanism bought to be able to carry out this task automatically instead of requiring human intervention each time.   • The Filter cloth cleaning device is an auxiliary equipment for the cleaning of the filter cloths with pressurized water. It operates fully automatically and its control can be integrated into the Program based Control Panel of the filter press.
  • The cleaning carriage is located above the filter plate pack and the lower with the lifting device is arranged opposite to the operating side of the filter press and guided in sliding and supporting rails.
  • Water and current are fed through cable drag chains made of plastic material. Cleaning water is fed to the spray pipe through flexible high-pressure hoses. For cleaning, each plate is precisely positioned by proximity switches / Limit Switches and then sprayed by the spray pipe with jet nozzles. During each cleaning cycle, the spray pipe goes up and down between two filter plates. After termination of the described cleaning cycle, the plate shifting device shifts the cleaned plate towards the end plate and the cleaning carriage advances by a predetermined working way. After cleaning of all plates, the cleaning device returns to its parking position.
