The Plate and Frame Filter Press Plates, the original filter press concept in technology, is still a trusted solution in many industries today. This traditional design consists of filtration chambers formed by alternating plates and frames – the frame forms the chamber where the filter cake is developed. The suspension fills up the chambers while its filtrate is drained through Spigot / Cock / Nozzle on filtration plates so that it operates through pressure filtration. These are a great option when there is less interest in volume but more emphasis on filtration area as well as highly viscosity slurry such as specialized processes like Paper Industry, Viscose & Staple Fiber Filtration, Edible Oil, Commercial Oil Filtration and many more.
